SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is bringing the next generation of marine life theme parks to Yas Island in collaboration with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. It will feature six different realms in a unique design offering immersive experiences as well as dynamic habitats that will house different species together, as they are in their natural habitat. 

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi will also feature the world’s largest and most expansive marine-life aquarium, housing more than 68,000 marine animals, including sharks, schools of fish, manta rays and sea turtles. The marine life park will be home to the UAE’s first dedicated marine research, rescue, rehabilitation and return center providing world-class facilities to support regional and global conservation efforts. The SeaWorld Abu Dhabi experience will tell a unified “One Ocean” story based on the interconnectivity between all life on earth and our oceans. 

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi on Yas Island Set to Feature the World’s Largest Aquarium

Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading curator of magnetic experiences, in partnership with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, announced significant progress on the construction of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, the next generation of marine life theme parks and Yas Island’s latest mega-development. The marine-life park, which is set to feature the world’s largest and most expansive marine aquarium and the new Yas SeaWorld Research and Rescue Center, is currently 64% complete.

Miral and SeaWorld entertainment have confirmed the partnership to develop SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, a first-of-its-kind marine life themed park on Yas Island. This next generation SeaWorld Abu Dhabi will include the UAE’s first dedicated marine life research, rescue, rehabilitation and return center with world-class facilities and resources for the care and conservation of local marine life. The marine life themed park will be the first SeaWorld developed without orcas, and will integrate up-close animal experiences, mega attractions, a world class aquarium, bringing the latest technology in visitor engagement.

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi further supports Miral’s vision to position Yas Island as one of the top global tourist destinations.
